Activist Malala Yousafzai appears on one of seven covers for our TIME 100 issue. Seliger says of his experience: “One of the most humbling and powerful experiences I’ve had as a photographer was my trip to Birmingham, England to photograph Malala. Although her name means ‘grief-stricken’, her eyes were filled with compassion.”
